Petra L. Cisneros, 73, of Olmito, Texas, devoted, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brownsville, TX on May 12, 1951.

She is preceded in death by her parents Anacleto Lopez and Isabel Salazar; her husband Romulo Cisneros Rosenbaum Jr; and her three brothers Isabel Lopez, Antonio Lopez and Domingo Lopez.

Thank you, Mother. For consistently demonstrating unconditional love, providing hope during the most challenging moments, and serving as a pillar of strength and devotion to our entire family. Your enduring legacy will continue to flourish through each of us. The values, morals, and principles you have instilled in our heart will remain with us forever, dear Mother. We find solace in knowing that Father was eagerly awaiting your arrival, and he was the first to welcome you in your passing. Te vamos a extrañar inmensamente mi querida madre. Mi primer verdadero amor, mi madre hermosa.

She is survived by her children, Romulo Cisneros III (Elsa M. Cisneros), Angelica Zavala (Hugo Zavala), Juan Francisco Cisneros, and Miguel Cisneros (Amy Cisneros); her grandchildren Hugo Zavala Jr., Jacqueline Zavala, Destiny Alvarez, Sasha Cisneros, Natasha Cisneros, Jacob Cisneros, Briana Cisneros, Juan Cisneros JR., Dominic Cisneros, Ellie Cisneros, Miguel Cisneros Jr., and Noah Alexander Cisneros; and her great grandchild Emiliano Lugo; and her three brothers Ramiro Lopez, Santiago Lopez, and Anacleto Jr. and her sister Maria Luisa Alviar.
