Pettus Finley Obituary
He was born June 9th, 1947, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Buell and Tomileen Pettus Finley. He was a retired Plant Manager for ABECO and was an active member of Ostella Church of Christ. A lifelong businessman, teacher, farmer, and cattleman, he loved and served his church, his family and his community.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jean Clark Finley, two sons, Tod (Penny) Finley, and Jon (Polly) Finley, both of Ostella, six grandchildren, Justin, Kayla, Madison, Matthew, Micah, and Abigail, one sister in law, Beverly Lovelady, and cousins, Gayle Headden, Gradean Davis, and Billy Finley.
Visitation with the family will be held at Cornersville Funeral Home, 310 North Main St., Cornersville, TN, on Monday, August 25th, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will continue on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025, until the funeral hour.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025, at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in New Hope Ostella.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marshall County Cancer Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Cornersville Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
