Peyton McKenzie Owens, 32, passed away in 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and quiet strength. Born on October 11, 1993, Peyton lived a life filled with heart, purpose, and a deep love for the people and moments that meant the most to her.
Peyton had a special bond with her beloved dog, Grumpy, who was her constant companion and source of comfort. She found joy in simple adventures, whether it was listening to her favorite music, spending time outdoors, or settling into the peace of a campsite beneath the trees. Camping was one of her greatest loves—an escape where she felt free, grounded, and connected to the world around her.
What defined Peyton most was her giving spirit. She truly loved helping others, and she had a way of showing up for people when they needed it most. Her compassion left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Peyton will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were touched by her kindness. Her warmth, her laughter, and her generous heart will remain in the memories of those she loved.
Visitation: will begin on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 2 – 8 PM, and will continue on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM – until time of service at Spann Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: will begin at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 from the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Bro. Matthew Hiatt officiating.
Interment: will follow at Hall Cemetery
