Phally Ouk

With a heart full of love, we celebrate the life of Phally Ouk, who was born on January 1, 1963, in Takéo, Cambodia, and who brought light to our lives until her departure on February 4, 2024. Phally was a woman of immense strength whose generosity knew no bounds. She touched many lives with her warmth and kindness, always seeking to help others in any way she could. She was a resilient and courageous beacon, guiding those around her with her unwavering spirit and dedicated heart.
Phally spent 38 fruitful years in Springfield, Massachusetts, where she worked as a cake decorator for Friendlys Corp. Her artistic skills and creative eye brought joy to all who had the privilege of tasting her beautifully designed cakes. She retired in 2021, but her love for creating never waned. Phally found solace and happiness in her garden, where she nurtured plants with the same love and care that she extended to her family and friends. Her passion for cooking and enjoying time with loved ones was testament to her dedication to her family - her children, grandchildren and beloved grand dogs.
Phally's legacy of love and compassion will continue to be carried forward by her children, Jennifer Meas and Jason Meas, whose lives she has enriched with her affection and guidance. In line with her Buddhist faith, we remember the words of Buddha, "In the end, only three things matter: How much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you." Phally's life was a testament to these words, and she lived them out wholeheartedly each day.
A viewing will be held in honor of Phally on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Puerta Del Cielo® Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, 01109. We invite all those who were touched by her life to come and share in the celebration of her life.
