Phan Scott passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026, surrounded by love and the legacy of a life beautifully lived. Born on June 30, 1949, in Saigon, Vietnam, Phan carried with her a gentle strength, deep compassion, and a quiet wisdom that shaped everyone fortunate enough to know her.

A devoted practitioner of Buddhism, Phan lived her life guided by kindness, mindfulness, and grace. Her faith was not only something she believed in, but something she embodied daily through her patience, generosity, and unwavering love for family and community.

Phan met the love of her life, Robert Scott, in Vietnam. Their bond grew into a lifelong partnership, and they were married on March 20, 1970, in Atlanta, Georgia. Together, they built a home filled with love, resilience, and laughter, eventually settling in Savannah, Georgia, where they raised their children and created countless cherished memories.

The loss of her beloved husband on February 14, 2025, was a profound sorrow in her life. Yet even in grief, Phan remained a pillar of strength, continuing to give love and support to her family until her final days.

She leaves behind her four children-Jacqueline Scott, Bobby Scott, Jackie Scott-Williams, and Johnson Scott-who were the pride and joy of her life. Her legacy lives on through them, as well as through her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her spirit, warmth, and wisdom.

Phan Scott will be remembered for her gentle smile, her selfless heart, and her unwavering devotion to her family. Her life was a testament to love, perseverance, and faith. Though she is no longer with us in body, her presence will forever be felt in the lives she touched and the love she so freely gave. May she rest in peace and continue her journey in eternal serenity.
