Pherne Stone Osborne, 78, of Elizabethtown passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 while at Elizabethtown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 30, 1945 in Orange County the daughter of the late Vernon Stone and Juanita Maynard Stone.
Pherne was known for her love of life and big smile. She loved to have fun with family and friends and they so enjoyed her sense of humor. Her vast array of talents included sewing and knitting. Pherne loved animals as much as people and enjoyed caring for her fur babies. She will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish the many dear memories of her are beloved husband, David Osborne of the home, sons Norman Brinkley (Debbie) of Kannapolis, Clay Brinkley of Chapel Hill, step children Tonya Torain and Kim Jones (Doyle), one brother Jimmy Howard (Debra), sisters Rebecca Wright (Howard) and Debbie Neville (Albert), grandchildren Nicole Senter (Levi) and Jackson Brinkley, step grandchildren Blake Enoch, Drakkar Pettiford, Dwayne Barnes, Reign Barnes, Sarah Roberts (Scott), Seth Jones and Stuart Jones, great grandchild Oakley Senter, step-great grandchildren Chloe Enoch, Adonis Barnes and Noah Roberts, and a host of other extended family and friends.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Reverend David Kelly officiating.
