Phil Kernell, age 76 of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Wednesday morning, February 14, 2024 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Phil is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.
Funeral Services for Phil Kernell will be conducted Saturday afternoon, February 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Jack Honeycutt officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. and continue until service time Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
He was preceded in death by: wife, Faye Lynn Kernell, son, Jerry Kernell, parents, Thomas & Bonnie Jewell Wolfe Kernell, brothers, A.C. Kernell, James Kernell & Doug Kernell, sister, Joyce Ann Kernell; grandsons, Holden Crowder & P.J. Kernell, sister-in-law, Helen Kernell
He is survived by: children, David & wife, Stephanie Kernell of Red Boiling Springs, Rhonda Faye & husband, Tommy Loftis of Lebanon, Angela York, Kimberly Kernell, Lannie & wife, Allena Kernell; brother, Roy Kernell all of Red Boiling Springs; sisters, Margie Rush of Whitleyville, Gaile Hensley of Red Boiling Springs, Brenda Scheu of Clay County; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
