Philip Frederick Adler III, age 49, of Warrenville, IL, passed away April 21, 2024 surrounded by his loving family, following a long illness which he fought with great strength, determination, and perseverance. He is survived by his loving wife, Megan (Comerford), and his three children, Ryne, Reid, and Rose, whom he loved dearly. Phil was the cherished son of Kathleen and the late Philip Adler II; loving brother of Ronald (Lisa) Adler, Jeanne (Chris) Miller, the late Michael (Cathy) Adler and Susan (Bret) Schusler. He was a dear son-in-law of Cheryl (Stuart VanDyke) Comerford and James (Cleo Burtis) Comerford; brother-in-law of Erin (Frank) Briody, Peter Comerford, and Lucy (Andrew) Pimentel; and a favorite uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Phil had such a thirst for life, and spending time with friends and family. He was active with the Warrenville Park District and coached a number of his children's sports teams. Those of you who knew Phil, knew that 32 was "his number." It is said that those who resonate with the energy of the number 32 are often gifted with the natural ability to bring beauty and light into the world, and he did just that. Phil had the ability to light up a room with his presence, was a great friend to many, and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
An hour visitation with the family followed by a Funeral Mass for Phil will be held on May 3rd, 2024 at 11 o'clock at St. Irene's Catholic Church in Warrenville. The Celebration of Phil's life will start at 2 o'clock at the Courtyard Banquets in Warrenville.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the family to support Phil and Megan's children's future endeavors. Your generous contribution will provide them with opportunities to pursue their passions and aspirations, whether it be higher education, vocational training, or other avenues. Your support will empower them to achieve their dreams.
