I was fortunate to be able to spend several years with Philip as his cousin and neighbor. Philip was a major influence to me in teaching me German, golf, cribbage, and most importantly doing something in life that you enjoy. Like Philip I was also captain of my golf team in my senior year at Salem High School. I tremendously enjoyed his sense of humor and his vice imitations of character like Grouch Marx, W.C. Fields, Curley Fine, James Mason, and several others.
