Philip J. "Phil" Carter, 80, of Lower Macungie Twp., passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Veronica A. "Ronnie" (Gizey) Carter. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in January 2024. Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Frederick M. and Lucille M. (Patouhas) Carter. Phil graduated with a bachelor's degree in English from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY. He was Director of Player Licensing Sports Pre-production with Topps Company for 28 years before retiring in 2006. Mr. Carter was a US Navy veteran and served from 1965-1967. He was a former president of FAB II (Fairways at Brookside) for many years. Phil was a member of St. Thomas More Church, Allentown
Survivors: Wife, Ronnie; Son: Douglas W. and his wife Courtney and their children Liv and Nora of Goose Creek, SC; Son: David J. and his wife Lisa and their children Connor, Tyler, Kaitlyn of Macungie, PA; Daughter: Kimberly A. Sala and her husband Christopher and their son Wyatt of Port St. Lucie, FL.
Services: There will be a viewing from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm on Sunday at Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 274 N. Krocks Rd., Allentown 18106. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am Monday at St. Thomas More Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown 18103. www.stephensfuneral.com.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Philip, you are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The carrier has turned into the wind preparing for your final departure. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender.
