Phil was the Head Counselor at Chadbourne Hall, UMO , and I served as one of his counselors .
Phil was direct , had this wonderful dry sense of humor and genuinely was concerned for the students under his charge.
I never saw him in person again but one afternoon I got a phone call from him about some legislation that he learned I had been involved in ( I graduated in 1967 and I believe the call probably came about 2010 or so) !!!
We had a great conversation, getting caught up with each other´s stories. I was certainly not surprised about his career in school counseling. The Kittery School Department was well served I´m sure.
Anyway, good memories of a good person.
My condolences to his family.

Phil was our next door neighbor when we moved to York. Great memories with Meredith and Kate who were the same two ages as our kids. Rest in Peace Phil.
