Philip Sanford Cromack

Philip Sanford Cromack passed away Wednesday, Nov 8, in Whitingham, Vermont. Philip was born August 22, 1989, in the Brattleboro Hospital, the son of Ward (Pete) and June (Dix) Cromack. He attended schools in Southern Vermont. In the past he had worked at Heartwellville Towing in Readsboro and Napa Auto Parts in Wilmington. He also became a live-in caretaker of his father following his father's stroke in 2022. Philip was a longtime hunter and fisherman, following the family tradition, and enjoyed hiking in the White Mountains. Philip is survived by his mother, June Cromack-Tool and stepfather, Robert Tool of Readsboro, Vermont, sister, Carrie (Cromack) Gilbert and husband Russell Gilbert, of Cornell, Wisconsin, nephews Nicholas Rubino, Branden Rice, River Gilbert and a niece, Rain Gilbert,and many life-long friends.
