Philip E. Elswick, 54, of Mt Vernon, passed away Thursday, October 5.
He was born May 7, 1969 in Ironton, Ohio to Benard Martin and Carolyn Elswick.
He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Union Local 735 for 24 years. He was carpenter of the year in 2007. Philip had a profound love for the outdoors and enjoyed spending his time fishing, perfecting his golf swing, and crafting beautiful creations through his carpentry skills. His dedication to hobbies was a testament to his love for the simple joys in life. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Philip will be deeply missed by his mother, Carolyn Willison, a daughter, Alison Elswick, and a grandson, Layken Aslinger; brothers Roger Willison Jr., Robert Willison, a sister Krystal Coe; nieces and nephews, Joshua Smith, Kaylan Kincer, Erica Kincer
Philip was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony D Smith and his father Roger Willison.
