I am heartbroken to learn of the passing of my dear friend, Philip Gibson. His absence has left a void that words cannot fully capture. Though I had not been in Florida for over a year, I had been trying to reach out to him, only to be met with silence. Something told me to search for him online, and that´s when I found his obituary. The shock of this discovery is still settling in.

Philip was not just a friend; he was a beacon of kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support in my life. His generosity knew no bounds, and he had a unique gift for making everyone around him feel valued and cherished. His laughter and smile brought warmth and joy, and his words of encouragement were a source of strength for me in times of need.

We shared countless moments that I will always hold dear, from deep conversations to simple, joyful experiences. Philip had an incredible ability to truly listen and offer advice that resonated deeply. His perspective on life was always insightful, and his compassion was boundless.

One thing Philip always used to tell me was that I was so much better than the circumstances I would put myself in. His belief in me, even when I struggled to believe in myself, was a guiding light. His words of encouragement and support helped me see my own worth and strive for better.

Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the memories we shared and the impact he had on my life. Philip´s legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will continue to inspire me. I will always remember him as a true friend who celebrated my successes and supported me through my struggles.

Rest in peace, Philip. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Thank you for being a part of my life and for the profound difference you made. Until we meet again.

My wife and I just learned of Philip´s passing. To say we are shocked with this news is an understatement. Philip was one of most vibrant individuals that both my wife and I ever had to the pleasure to be with. Philip was introduced to us as a financial advisor, but became a true friend. Just talking with him and seeing his love and enthusiasm for his work was an inspiration to us. He always took the time to answer our questions, wondering how he could keep track of and providing financial analysis of our portfolio. My wife and I had the pleasure to meet him out on numerous occasions for lunch and dinner and we talked a lot about his travels his mother and family.

Philip, you will truly be missed by everyone you ever had contact with. Rest in peace my friend.

My heart is irreparably broken over the loss of this great man. Philip was so much for so many who were lucky to have known him and even luckier to call him a friend. A relentless hopeful, a determined giver, a ray of sunshine on your darkest day. That´s who Philip was to me and my world never shinned brighter than whenever he was around. To his Mom, Peggy, his brother and his entire family, including his clients and coworkers, the painful loss of this kind and beautiful human is inconsolable but he will in each of us who share in your pain. Rest in peace, my dear friend. Until we meet again...

I´m going to miss our meetings, even though Phil gave me an abundance of things to do.
Which I never managed to complete... or remember my passwords...
Each and every time he always guided me through the things I needed to do with a smile on his face ..

We were heartbroken to hear of our dear friend, Philip's passing. He was such a wonderful person in so many ways and will be missed by all who's lives he touched. So grateful that we were able to see him, Mary and Peggy in January. Philip hosted us to a delightful brunch at his home. We love you, Philip. Rest in Peace, beautiful friend.

I was a vendor working with Philip in financial services. He was so outwardly caring, thoughtful and open. I truly valued our relationship and thought a lot of him. Relationships meant a lot to him and he treated people incredibly good. He was an exceptional person.

Philip was our wonderful and honest financial planner but most importantly, he was our dear friend. His vibrant smile and laughter will forever be in our hearts. We shared meals at each of our homes and he loved my wife, China's, Cuban food. He enriched our lives and taught us the importance of good financial planning. It is with our heavy hearts that we have to say goodbye but Philip will never be forgotten! Love you Philip, Artie and China Gonzalez

Through Philip's guidance we were able to retire comfortably and we are enjoying our senior years. He was insightful and helped us understand a clear picture of finances going forward. His infectious personality and enthusiasm in life brought smiles to everyone. Needless to say, Philip will surely be missed. Gone too soon, so young, so full of life. We love you.

Philip was one of my best friends for nearly 40 years, he felt more like a brother. It is inconceivable that he has gone to the angels. To know Philip was to know someone who cared about everyone. No matter who they were, he cared and always cared. He was an amazing person, whether it was son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, or neighbor. He will forever be missed. Let us hold his memory in high regard and honor that. This photo was taken in 1988 in the Hamptons. We lived so much life together. The morning of this photo, Philip and I were out to breakfast with friends. We were two poor college students - I had to ask him for fifty cents so I could afford cream cheese for my bagel. Well, that was Philip, always caring, always giving. We and the World will miss you my friend.

I have known/worked with Philip for over 20 years and he has brought laughter to my life so often over the years. His own laugh was infectious and to hear it was to laugh yourself regardless of the topic. When I had numerous health issues over the years, Philip was always there with a food gift or a stop over. He was just that kind of person. Generous at holiday's to all. He will be missed in so many ways. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

I just don't know what to say. I kept hoping it was a mistake. Philip was always thinking of others. I recently had a major surgery and he cooked for me and always offered a ear. He was a great friend and I will miss him dearly. RIP
