It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Philip James Lamb, who left this world on Thursday, December 5, 2024. Born on March 22, 1965, Philip was a kind and creative soul who touched the lives of many with his passion, humor, and genuine spirit.
Philip was a gifted artist, a guitarist, and a man who saw beauty in the simple things in life. He spent countless hours strumming melodies that reflected his deep connection to the world around him. His artistic talent extended beyond music, as he loved to create and appreciate all forms of art.
Fishing brought Philip peace and joy, giving him cherished moments surrounded by nature. He had a special love for animals, particularly eagles and horses, which he admired for their grace, strength, and freedom. There isn't a dog Philip could leave behind. They all brought him joy. Philip always felt a profound connection to eagles, considering them his spirit animal-a symbol of his boundless imagination and ability to soar above life's challenges. May we honor his memory by cherishing the beauty in the world and finding joy in life's simple moments, as he so often did.
He is survived by his three children, Ericka (Matthew) Bartz, Nichole (Travis) Taylor, and Bryan Lamb; grandchildren Conner, Brayden, Octavian and Jaidah; siblings Madonna (Lamb) Schneider, Casper (John) Lamb, Victoria (Gary) McFall, Bruce (Melonie) Lamb and Charles (Betty) Lamb. He is preceded in death by his parents, Casper Leon Lamb, Rose Mary (Kirn) Lamb, and two brothers, David Lamb (brother), Carl Lamb (brother).
A funeral service for Philip will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 11:00am at the Sonnenburg Funeral Home in Tomah, WI. Family and friends can come together for a visitation from 10:00am until the start of the service to share stories and memories. Luncheon to follow with burial at 1:30 at Pine Grove Cemetery in Mather, WI.

I have known Philip for many years, starting back in high school; we dated back in the 80´s and spent a lot of time sitting around listening to him sing songs and play guitar. We had gotten back together in 2003 and it felt like no time had passed. I´ve always been close with his whole family and always enjoyed my time with him and his children. Bryan still refers to me as Mom;& I will always think of him as another Son. He will be greatly missed and will always hold a special place in my heart. Sending prayers and hugs to his whole family. Love snd miss you all.
