Philip Andrew Levingston, affectionately known as Phil, was born on February 10, 1968, in Independence, Missouri to the late Willard Loyd and Marilyn Joyce (Barks) Levingston. He passed away peacefully at his residence in Eustis, Florida, on October 18, 2025, leaving behind a profound legacy of service and commitment to his community. Phil's career began in law enforcement, where he joined the City of Eustis Police Department in 1996. His dedication and hard work enabled him to rise through the ranks, culminating in his retirement as Sergeant in 2021. A devoted public servant, he was known for his unwavering commitment to upholding the law and ensuring the safety of his fellow citizens. In addition to his distinguished career in policing, Phil served honorably in the United States Navy during Desert Storm and the Gulf War, exemplifying a commitment to service that extended well beyond his professional life. His military experience instilled in him values that he carried throughout his life. Phil was a life member of the VFW Post 8087 in Eustis, further demonstrating his dedication to veterans and his country. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Carri Levingston, of Eustis, FL; his son, Weston Andrew (Allison) Levingston, also of Eustis, FL; and his daughter, Lauren Elizabeth (A.J.) Levingston, of Nashville, TN. Additionally, he leaves behind his brother, Lloyd "Lee" Levingston, of Eustis, FL. Each of his family members cherished his guidance, laughter, and love. A visitation in honor of Phil will be held on October 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Harden Pauli Funeral Home in Eustis. This will be followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, allowing family and friends to gather and celebrate the life of a man who dedicated so much to others. Phil’s life was marked by deep commitment to his family, his country, and his community. He will be remembered not just for his achievements but for the love and laughter he brought into the lives of all who knew him.
