Funeral Mass for Philip C. Musarra, 82, of Concord, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord.
Philip passed away Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025, at his home, with his family by his side.
Born Dec. 9, 1942, in Cleveland, Philip lived in Mentor before moving to Concord 23 years ago.
Phil loved to golf when he was younger, especially when he and his wife Dawn escaped winter to their Naples, Fla. condo. He was an excellent painter and illustrator. Phil enjoyed traveling and cruising with Dawn.
He was the beloved husband for 45 years of Dawn (nee Miller) Musarra; cherished father of Philip Musarra, Nicholas (Claudia) Musarra, John (Heidi) Musarra, Peter (Kristan) Musarra, April (Alan) Sirca and Michael Musarra; and cherished grandfather of Cameron (David) Farizel, Lexi Boyd, Mason Musarra, Addilyn Musarra and Isabella Musarra.
Philip was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Mary (nee DiSalvo) Musarra; and siblings, Peter Musarra and Mary Baclawski.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will follow the Mass at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.

Dawn, April, Michael, and the rest of your family I'm sorry for your loss. I know this is a difficult time while going through the grieving process just know that he is in God's protective hands now and he is looking down on all of you. I continue to pray for all of you during this time of grief.
