Philip ("Phil") Paluzzi, 61, of Yonkers, New York, passed away on November 25, Thanksgiving Day.
Phil was born in New York City on April 28, 1960. He graduated from Evander Childs High School and completed college courses at William-Penn University and at a college in Iowa.
Phil loved football and played defensive end and outside linebacker throughout high school and college. He was a fan of the Giants, the Broncos, and whichever teams his nephew, Daniel, played for. Phil also loved disco music. He would often practice dancing with his sister, Donna, before hitting the town.
Phil moved to the Denver, Colorado, area in the early 1990s and worked as a truck driver for many years before moving back to New York in 2020.
He is survived by his parents, Lillian and Ernest Paluzzi, his sister and brother, Donna Negron and Ernest Paluzzi Jr., his nephews and niece, Daniel and Nicholas Negron, and Robert, Ernest, Joseph, and Jennifer Paluzzi, and his other beloved family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 28, at 72 East Main Street, Elmsford, New Yew York.
