Philip Andrew Roth, of Farmington, Missouri, went home to God and Jesus on January 6, 2026, at the age of 73. He passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on April 13, 1952, in Perryville, Missouri, to the late Leonard “Lex” Herman Roth and Emily Genevieve (née Herzog) Roth.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra (née Rosenburg) Roth; his children, Lynn Roth and Lisa Jackson (Adam); his grandchildren, Madeline, Audrey, Tessa, Hannah, Julia, Liam, and Maeve; his brothers, David Roth (Donna), Dennis Roth (Joan), Thomas Roth (Jane), and Matthew Roth (Laura); his sisters, Becky Bruemmer (Mel), Jane Gale (Robert), Mary Jo Madden (Doug), and Annette Price (Erick); his sisters-in-law, Amy Roth, Betty (née Herzog) George, and Debbie Roth; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Alexander “Alex” Roth, Bob Herzog, and Robert “Bob” Roth; and his nephews, Devin Price, Erick Price Jr., Daniel Roth, and Derek Roth.

Philip enjoyed carpentry work and took great pride in adding on to his home twice over the years. His children have fond memories of working alongside him on various home improvement projects. He was also an avid sports fan, especially of the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Stephanie and all the caregivers at Visiting Angels; Donna, Lisa, Bry, Jessica, Stacey, Ashley, and the entire staff at Serenity Hospice; as well as Cozean Memorial Chapel and St. Joseph Catholic Church for their compassion, love, and support during this difficult time.

A visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on January 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Greg Schwab. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to St Vincent De Paul Food Pantry, 101 N Carleton St, Farmington, MO 63640.
