Phillip Edward Bauler, 59, husband of Jackie Lynn Weber Bauler, died peacefully on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at his home.
He was born on July 23, 1965, to Edward Bauler and the late Irene Bauler, of Wellington, KS, their firstborn son.
Phillip and Jackie Bauler were united in marriage on March 15, 1985, and celebrated 39 years together.
Phillip was a proud United States Air Force Veteran and served our country for four years. Traveling the world was something Phillip told himself he wanted to accomplish, and he did by traveling across the globe, enjoying and experiencing many adventures along the way. While in the Air Force, Phillip's accomplishments included completions of excellence that he proudly wore upon his formal Air Force uniform attire.
Phillip's Honda Fury, blue motorcycle, was his gateway to freedom on the road. His motorcycle rides enabled Phillip to experience the thrill of the ride, and simultaneously let him escape and relax. A favorite goal he achieved was traveling to Florida, for "bike week" and conquering the Infamous "Tail of the Dragon" on Route 129 in Tennessee- a dream ride for all motorcyclists!
Phillip was employed by several companies in South Carolina. His two main positions were with Tyson/Pilgrim plant for 28 years and Bo Jangles for 32 years. He had a very strong work ethic.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Jackie, daughter Sharon Toll of Hazelton, KS, son Andrew Bauler, of the home, and his two faithful companions, Velvet and Jasmine.
Phillip is also survived by immediate family members; Father Edward Bauler of Wellington, KS; sister Ellen (Terry) Golden of Wellington, KS; sister Susan Doherty of Wellington; sister Mary (Brett) Butler of Salina, KS; sister Jennifer Bauler of Burden, KS; and brother James (Tammy) Bauler of Wichita, KS.
He was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Phillip leaves behind several brothers and sisters of the United States Air Force and many good civilian friends who had traveled along his side during his lifetime.
Phillip was preceded in death by his mother; Grandparents Leo and Marguerite Ring; Henry and Irene Bellinghausen; Clyde and Mary Lamoreaux; Paul Loefke; brother-in-law Rodger Doherty, and mother-in-law Sharon Weber.
Memorial services will be held at Winfield Veterans Cemetery, Winfield, KS at a later date.
