Phillip "Phil" Ray Coslett, age 86, passed away on February 10, 2026, in Newton, Kansas.
He was born on January 30, 1940, in Harper, Kansas, to Edward and Nadine Coslett.
Phil graduated from Conway Springs High School in 1958. He then went on to work at Hesston Corporation, Midland Industries, Sedgwick Lumber Yard and Continental Timber.
On April 30, 1982, Phill was united in marriage to Mary Grace Anthony, and they remained happily married for the last 44 years.
Phil was an avid sports fan and fitness enthusiast. He enjoyed watching KU basketball and Chiefs football and participated in running, swimming, cycling, and basketball.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Grace; son, Kirt (Kim) of Elmdale, Kansas; daughter, Denise (Casey) of Oviedo, Florida; daughter, Julienne (Dave) of Wichita, Kansas; and step-son, Josh (Birgit) of Belton, Texas. Phil also has 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Gene; his sister, Maryann; and step-daughter, Gina.
Services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Petersen Funeral Home, 215 N. Main St., Newton, Kansas.
