Phillip was a Army veteran, served in Vietnam and Honorably Discharged. Retired from TV station WTTW where he worked in the mail room for many years. He enjoyed bike riding and cooking.
Visitation and funeral services will be held on Saturday November 4th 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 5:30 PM and Military Honors at 7:00 PM. Interment private. Information available at 773-685-4400

Phillip A. Day, October 17, 1949 – October 30, 2023. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Kathrein). Loving father of Phillip Edward. Dear brother of George (Diane), Carole, Wayne (Nicole). Preceded in death by his parents, James and Margaret. Phillip was a brother-in-law to many, as well as uncle to many nieces and nephews.
