Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026, at St. Matthew Baptist Church, 2106 Walker Street, Picayune, MS 39466 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held Friday, February 27, 2026, at Brown’s Funeral Home Chapel, 1011 Rosa Street, Picayune, MS from 5:00 -7:00 p.m.

Phillip Jackson was born February 18, 1957, to Beatrice and Curtis Jackson, Sr. in Picayune, MS.

He was baptized at an early age at St. Matthew Baptist Church. Phillip was graduate of Picayune Memorial High School, Class of 1975. He had a love for people and most of all his auto repair services.

On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, his grace lead him home to be with the Lord at Forrest General Hospital at the age of 68.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Beatrice Jackson, Sr.; his brothers, Curtis Jackson, Jr. and Nathaniel Jackson.

Phillip leaves to cherish his memories, his loving siblings, Cherry (Sam) Willis, Sadie (Darryl) Stewart, Ada (Ricky) Kendall, Vanessa Smooth and Bettye Ekperikpe; a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
