He was born on December 30, 1946 in Van, West Virginia to Herbert and Thirley (Kuhn) Lambert.
Phillip was a proud veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his daughter Leigh-Ann (Lucas) Knudsen of Harvard, grandchildren Karina, Joshua, Nikolas, and Emma-Rose, and siblings Arnold (Linda) Lambert, Francis Lambert, Pat (Ken) Melten, Gary Lambert, Roberta (Herb) Hatchett, and Michael Lambert.
Phillip was preceded in death by his sister Anna Lee Bias, and brothers Garland and Richard Lambert.
