Mueller Funeral Home - MasonPhillip E. "Phil" Leuck passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 35. He was born on May 5, 1990, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Phil was known for his laid-back and relaxed demeanor. He never met a stranger and was always ready to help, moving through life with a steady calm, easygoing spirit, and sense of humor. His observant nature allowed him to connect deeply with others, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Phil was an Eagle Scout with Troop 990, where he cultivated his love for the outdoors through camping and hiking. He graduated from Ohio University and made his career there as an Identity Administrator, where he was known for his steady expertise and reliability. He was in his element on the disc golf course (serving on the board of the Athens Disc Alliance), dancing at music festivals, playing online games, Dungeons & Dragons, and Euchre, and cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals.
Phil was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Leuck and is survived by his loving father, David Leuck; brothers, Stephen (Stephanie) Leuck and Scott (Kathy) Leuck; partner, Shanna MacRostie, and her children, Carter and Gavin; nieces and nephews, James, Emmy, Hazel, Ryan, Peter, and Zeke.
