Phillip Patterson Obituary
In 2006, Phil suffered a massive stroke that left him incapacitated until his passing. He enjoyed time with his grandchildren and watching Law & Order, the news, soap operas, and sports.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Helen Patterson; and his sister, Carolyn.
Phil is survived by his wife, Cathy; children, Phillip, Jr., Antoine, Royal, and Antoinette; brother, Archie (Renee); sisters, Cynthia, Kellee (Billy), and Kieta; and a host of grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and dear friends.
Visitation will be Monday, March 2, 2026, 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. with Homegoing Services 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. from Ridgelawn Funeral Home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana 46408. Interment Fern Oaks Cemetery 1518 E. Elm Street Griffith, Indiana 46319.

I remember when Phil and his siblings moved across the street from me I believe in 1970 on W 20th Pl. I didn´t know we would end up being fraternity brothers some day! My sincere condolences to his wife and family and may Phil rest in eternal peace! `06 love forever!
