Nancy D. Bruick

Nancy D. Bruick, 81, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 in Libertyville, IL. She was born February 16, 1945 in Crown Point, IN and was a 26 year resident of Libertyville, IL, before moving to Mundelein, IL in 2008. She received a bachelor's degree in education from Indiana University and was a former elementary school teacher, until she had the privilege of being able to raise her wonderful family. Nancy was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Libertyville, where she was involved with service worship ministry, caring & sharing ministry and she enjoyed quilting & playing bridge with friends.

Surviving is her husband of 58 years, John Bruick; 3 children, Richard (Joy) Bruick, Rebecca (John) Strauts & Angela Wake; 5 grandchildren, Ben (Jasmine), Nate, Jackson, Anna & Mari; 2 brothers, Paul Seegers & Gerald (Betty) Seegers and her sister-in-law, Judy (Maloy) Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray & Marie Seegers; son-in-law, Ryan Wake & sister-in-law, Phyllis Seegers.

A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Grace Lutheran Church, 501 Valley Park Dr. in Libertyville. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Libertyville. Arrangements by Burnett-Dane Funeral Home in Libertyville.
