Rowena Smith Obituary
Born July 27, 1925, in Richmond, Indiana, to Foute and Iva L. Woods Hammontree, Rowena lived in this community most of her life. She was a 1944 graduate of Richmond High School and attended Indiana University. Rowena worked as a secretary at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
Survivors include her daughter, Amy Lee (Blaine) Miller of Chandler, AZ; son, Andrew (Rochelle) Smith, of Richmond, Indiana; grandchildren, Anna (Jacob) Brady, Blaine Smith, and Mark (Kendra) Smith; and great grandchild, Lyla Brady.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Smith; and her parents.
There will be no public services. Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
