Mr. Phillip “Phil” M. Morgan, age 74, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at McLeod Health – Cheraw. In honoring Mr. Morgan’s wishes, no formal services are scheduled.
Mr. Morgan was born November 27, 1951 in Wadesboro, NC, a son of the late J.B. and Maxine Donahue Morgan. He was a graduate of Anson High School and worked his entire career in the construction industry. Phil retired from Carmel Construction and was also a former employee of PPI. An avid outdoorsman, Phil enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Morgan was also preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Morgan; and brother, Steve Morgan.
Survivors include his son, Ian (Ashlee) Morgan of Norwood, NC; siblings, Sherrill Henry of Norwood, NC, Joe (Becky) Morgan of Virginia Beach, VA, and Gina (David) Wooten of Cumming, GA; special friend, Sandy Watson of Chesterfield, SC; numerous nieces and nephews, and his faithful dog, “Roxie.”
Memorials may be made to a humane society of one’s choice.
