Phillip Cody Randle, the second of two sons were born on January 11, 1955 in Amarillo, TX to Dan and Josephine Randle.

Phillip accepted Christ at an early age and united with Johnson Chapel African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church in Amarillo, TX. He attended Hilltop Elementary School, Carver Junior High School, and graduated from Palo Duro High School. Phillip continued his education at Paul Quinn College in Waco, TX; and, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work. He then returned to Amarillo and began his working career. He worked for Northwest Texas Hospital and Roberts Paper Company, before being employed by FedEx. He worked for FedEx 42 years before retirement.

Upon becoming a Minister, he pastored Saint James AME Church in Dawson, TX, then Brock Chapel AME Church in Borger, TX, before pastoring his home church, Johnson Chapel AME Church for 36 years in Amarillo, TX. He was currently pastoring Bethel AME Church in Abilene, TX. He was a man after God's own heart. A man of integrity, morals, and Christian values. He was an optimistic man and was always full of hope. Pastor Randle married Elizabeth A. Parrish on June 24, 1978; and, to this union four children were born: Brandon, April, Ashley, and Angel Briana.

Pastor Randle was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Josephine Randle, a daughter Angel Briana and brother William "WW" Randle.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Elizabeth; a son, Brandon (Cassie); daughters, April Randle of Lewisville, TX, and Ashley Randle of Carrolton, TX. Nephews, Winston (Tricia) of Ft. Worth, TX, Ricky Jewett of Oklahoma, Christopher Patterson, D'Andre Kelly, Korey Harper, Jewelian Harper and Xavier Kelly, all of Amarillo, TX. Nieces, Staceye Randle of Irving, TX, Meiko Spencer of Kansas City, Andrali Jewett of Oklahoma, Alicia Jackson of Arlington, TX, Jessica Wilson (Donnie Jr.) of Aubrey, TX, Skylar Patterson, Taylor Parrish, Kristen Parrish and Micah Parrish, all of Amarillo, TX. Mother-in-law, Bobbie Jackson of Amarillo, TX; brothers-in-law Michael Parrish of Amarillo, TX, and Harlan Reece of DeSoto, TX; sisters-in-law, Carlotta Randle of Oklahoma, Toni Reece of DeSoto, TX, Teresa Parrish and Carla Parrish of Aubrey, TX. Grandchildren, Bijayen, Alyssa, Jada, Layana, Casdon, Kodie, Harmonii, Nevada, Melodie, Cameron, Zaryiah, Brynleigh, Zaylee, and TeAntae; bonus daughters, Nakisha Woods, Latoya Louis, Ashlee Buckley and Kabrina Pipkins; best friend, Donnell Hill.
