Phil Seekins, born July 24, 1938, was a devoted husband, loving dad, proud grandfather and great-grandfather who went home to be with the Lord on September 8th, 2025.

He was born and raised in St. Albans, Maine, where he learned the value of hard work, faith, and family - values he carried with him every day of his life. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Beverly and his sons Eric and wife, Naomi; Scott; Daren and wife, Kristie, and Eric Braley. He loved being a Grandpa and will be missed by his grandchildren: Cassie, Brad, Tyson, Brittany and husband Caleb, and Katelyn and husband Logan and his great-grandchildren: Max, and arriving in November, Mason. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He loved his family dearly, "more than you'll ever know".

Phil never met a stranger and anyone who knew him knew how much he loved hunting, the outdoors, and a good story. But more than anything, he loved people - his family, his friends, and even people he just met. When you walked into a room and saw Phil, he lit up like it was the best part of his day. His joy was contagious, and his hospitality came straight from the heart.

Phil had a deep love for the Lord and often talked about looking forward to Glory. He knew where he was going, and he was at peace when the time came.

He was predeceased by his father, James Seekins; his mother, Frances Seekins; his sister, Jane Duby, and her husband, Butch; his sister, Linda Seekins; and daughter-in-law, Heidi Seekins. We take comfort knowing he's now reunited with them, probably laughing, hugging, and sharing stories like he always loved to do.

Phil's legacy is one of love, faith, and making people feel seen and special. He'll be deeply missed, but we know this isn't goodbye it is just "see you later."

Thank you to all who came to visit him over the past year, it brightened his day and he so enjoyed the visits. And a special thank you to the staff at Lakewood Continuing Care, and the Hospice group - the extraordinary care and love for him was a blessing to him and his family.

Graveside service at the St. Albans Village Cemetery at 11:00am Saturday, September 20th 2025. Followed by a gathering from 12pm to 2pm at the Jonathan Bowman Center for Enrichment in St. Albans.
