Phillip Smith Obituary
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Falgout Funeral in Houma on April 16th, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma on April 17th, 2024 from 9:00 am until service time. His Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
Mr. Phillip is survived by his loving wife of 35 years: Donna Smith; children: Denise Triche (Kirt) and Billy Fanguy Sr. (Casey); grandchildren: Shea Triche, Jensen Triche, Chandelon Fanguy, Mekenzie Fanguy, Billy Fanguy Jr., and Frankie Duplantis (Vera); great grandchildren: Cayleigh Triche, Cooper Triche, and Faya Verdin; sisters: Brenda Smith, Barbra Billiot, Linda Yocham, Elizabeth "Tuckie" Tovar, and Patsy Duthy; brother: Russell Smith; godchildren: Michelle Duplantis, Regina Gautreaux, Randilyn Percle, and Becky Smith; and brother-in-law: George Duplantis (Irma).
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents: Felician and Mabel F. Smith; and brothers: Thaddeus Boudreaux, Roland Smith, and Kenneth Smith.
Lope was an awesome husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He was a selfless, hardworking, a joker, and will be greatly missed.
