Phillip Spickard

Phillip Spickard, age 71, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Geneva Bishop Spickard. Mr. Spickard is survived by his wife of 36 years, Eunice Chia Spickard; children, Michelle Curry of Hoschton, GA, Michael (Morgan) Spickard of Ft. Drum, NY; grandchildren, Timothy, Matthew, Tripp, Amaria; brothers, John W. (Sarah) Spickard, Jr. Nicholasville, KY; David Spickard of Lexington, KY; sister, Mary (Dave) Kelly of Murfreesboro, TN; Nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Spickard was born on May 16, 1954 in Lexington, KY and graduated from LaFayette High School in 1972. He graduated in 1976 from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelors Degree. He was a retired Transportation Manager from UPS after 23 years of service. Mr. Spickard was a member of Cross Pointe Church in Duluth, GA, enjoyed fishing, playing golf, gardening and traveling. He was an avid Kentucky football fan and volunteered at the North Gwinnet Co-op Food Bank for over 10 years. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Greg Westmoreland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Gwinnett Co-op, 4395 Commerce Dr., Buford, GA 30518, in memory of Phillip Spickard.
