Phillip was born on May 21, 1935, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the late Thomas and Agness (Gudith) Waybrant. He graduated from Newberry High School with the class of 1954. Phillip married Barbara Olson on July 26, 1958, at St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Curtis, Michigan. Mr. Waybrant is a proud U.S. Army Veteran and served his country honorably. He retired from General Motors – Buick in 1994 with nearly 30 years of service. He was a member of New Covenant Church in Clio. Phillip was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed motorcycle trips with his children. He was a good man and always put his family first.
Surviving are: Wife, Barbara Waybrant; Children: Phillip (Colleen) Waybrant, Jr., Cathy (Kevin) Williams, Dennis (Tammy) Waybrant, Tim Waybrant, and Terry (Sharon) Waybrant; 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; Sister-in-law, Lona Waybrant. Phillip was also preceded in death by: Sister, Anna Francisco; Brother, Tom Waybrant; Father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ruben and Annabelle Olson.
