Phillip Wead Obituary

Phillip was known as one of the most talkative and warm-hearted people in the room. A devoted fan of Dale Earnhardt and the Minnesota Vikings, he took great pride in his passions. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, and he had a special love for beagles, which he raised and trained for hunting.
Phillip is survived by his loving wife, Loretta Wead of Corning; his children, Sara Wead and Dale Wead, both of Corning; his sister, Hope (Ernie) Pozzi of Caton; his brother-in-law, Harry Burger; and his nephews, Ernie (Colleen) Pozzi Jr. and Christopher Pozzi.
He was predeceased by his sister, Dawn Burger; nephews: Michael and Mark Burger.
Honoring Phillip's wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Carpenter's Funeral Home. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Phillip Paul Wead, please visit our Tree Store.
