Phillip Whittico Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Phillip Charles Whittico, age 68, of Syracuse, New York, who departed this life peacefully on July 30, 2025.
Phillip was a loving father and proud grandfather. Born and raised in Syracuse, he was known for his quiet strength, kind heart, and deep love for his family.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mamie Lee Whittico, and is survived by his longtime partner, Rebecca Armstrong; his children Kamisha, Katelynn, and Kaliesha who were the light of his life. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Jose, Joel, Cameron, and Camilah, who brought him endless pride and joy; as well as many other family members.
Phillip will be remembered for his calm spirit, warm presence, and the lasting impact he made on those around him. His legacy lives on through his family, whose lives he shaped with compassion and love.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 14th, from 9-10 a.m. at. St. Lucy's Church, 432 Gifford Street, Syracuse, NY. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
