Phuoc grew up and attended school in Vietnam. She came to the United States and settled in Garden City in 1997. She worked for 6 years at Pho Hoa restaurant and then spent many years as a picker on the production line at Tyson Beef Plant. She was of the Buddhist faith and enjoyed watching movies on television.
She is survived by her Children- Bich Phuong Van of Garden City and Quyen The Van of Vietnam and 3 Grandchildren- Bao Ngo of Garden City, Yennie Ngo of Wichita and Thanh Van of Vietnam.
Buddhist services will be Saturday morning at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City with burial to follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Friends may call from Noon to 8:00 PM Friday and 8:00 AM on Saturday at Garnand Funeral Home. Condolences may be posted at www.garnandfuneralhomes.com
