Juventino Tamayo Gonzalez, born on May 19, 1941, in the humble town of La Asibuche, Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of Antonio and Maria Ysabel (Gonzalez) Tamayo He died on October 7, 2025, in Garden City, Kansas. He married Maria Concepcion Estrada Martinez in Jerecuaro, Mexico. She preceded him in death on March 3, 2024.
Juventino's journey began in Mexico, but his dreams and hope for a better life for his family led him to venture far and wide. As an agricultural laborer, he worked tirelessly in the fields of Virginia, Washington, and Arizona, harvesting fruit, many times bringing some back to share with family. He had various professions but he excelled as a skilled baker. In his free time, Juventino found joy in cooking for family and friends, often using his Menudo to help soothe any headaches they may suffer from after a good time. Juventino's social nature shone through in his love for a good social drink. A passionate soccer fan, he spent his earlier years cheering on his beloved Chivas and, in later years, was persuaded (though without his consent) to support other teams as his family dressed him in their favorite jerseys. Whenever he found himself in a disagreement with his wife 'Conchis", his charming solution was to serenade her with songs by Chico Che, a tactic that never failed to bring a smile to her face. Although Juventino was strict and unconventional in his expression of love, his family deeply recognizes the many sacrifices he made. His commitment and firm guidance were the foundations upon which they built their own lives as responsible adults. Although his health has suffered in his later years, he died a peaceful content death, knowing he had fulfilled his dutiful role as husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Sus Nietos: Mayra, Salvador, Miriam, Gabriel, Alexis, Angelica, Yunuen, Luis, Chris, Oscar, Kimberly, Inaky, Wendy, Gabriela, Erick, Angel, Alondra, Valerie, Bryant, Joshua, Jennyfer, Jacob, Desteni, Brandon y Jeremy, 18 Bisnietos: Abriana, Andrew, Anthony, Alexa, Angel, Jayden, Carly, Nichole, Allyson, Melanie, Alexander, Messiah, Kassandra, Lucy, Addeline, Annalyse, Camila y Ángel.
