Garet Ray Beach (1973-2025)
The world became a little less bright on August 9, 2025, with the unexpected passing of Garet Ray Beach, 51. Born on October 14, 1973, in Garden City, KS to Gary and Roxann Beach. Garet was a lifelong farmer and rancher in Pierceville, KS, where he left an everlasting mark.
In his younger years, Garet was involved in showing livestock, Little Britches Rodeo, and a 10- year member of the Go Getters 4-H Club. He graduated from Ingalls High School where he was involved in several sports including football, basketball, and track. Following high school, he participated in college rodeo and went on to compete in KPRA rodeos and USTRC ropings. Garet began working on the family farm, Bar-O-Bar Ranch, at an early age, where his strong work ethic and dedication were evident in everything he took part in.
Garet married the love of his life, Jennifer, on January 4, 1997, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family. He was a loving husband and son, a devoted father, and a loyal friend to many. He will be remembered for his generous heart and infectious laughter, which could light up any room. Garet's unending humor brought joy to all who knew him, leaving a lasting impression that will never fade. Some of his happiest moments were spent on the lake bass fishing with his buddies, cheering on the K-State Wildcats, and simply being with his family, surrounded by the people he loved most.
Garet is survived by his wife, Jennifer Beach of Pierceville, KS; his children, Hope Beach of Garden City, KS, and Britlyn Beach and fiancé Justin Fugitt of Bel Aire, KS; his mother Roxann Beach and Jerry Toles of Sublette, KS; his sister Gera Steele and husband Robert Steele of Manhattan, KS; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, and his mother-in-law, Renee Brewer.
Funeral Service will be at 10:30 AM Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Garden City with Pastor Mike MacWhinnie officiating. Burial will follow at Pierceville Cemetery in Pierceville. The service will be livestreamed on the Garnand Funeral Home facebook page. Friends may call from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Friday with family present from 5:00- 7:00 pm to receive friends at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. Memorials are suggested to Garet R. Beach-Bar-O-Bar Ranch Scholarship Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
