Phylis Inglis Sneed, 65, of Henderson, Kentucky died Monday, July 27, 2009, at her home. She was born on January 8, 1944 in Hopkins County, Kentucky to the late William Sidney and Connie Inglis. She was a private duty sitter and a member of Bennett Memorial United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Inglis. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Garnett Roscoe Sneed; her son, Robert Matthew Sneed of Wheatcroft, KY; her daughter, Brandi Lea Shouse and her husband, Monte D. of Evansville, IN; her grandson, Justin Matthew Sneed; two brothers, John Douglas Inglis and his wife, Phyllis Ann of Dawson Springs, KY and Mitchell Inglis and his wife, Nona of Nashville, TN; three sisters, Shirley Lisanby and her husband, Maurice of Madisonville, KY and Sanda Inglis and Tammy Inglis both of Murfreesboro, TN; a sister-in-law, Alice Inglis and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services are at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2009, at Belleview United Methodist Church in Smith Mills, KY. James H. Davis Funeral Home in Owensboro, KY is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Memorial Fund, Belleview United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 95, Smith Mills, KY 42457 or the Memorial Fund, Bennett Memorial United Methodist Church, 503 Letcher St., Henderson, KY 42420.
