Phyllis Crosno Archer, 77, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 at Gates Health and Rehab in Gatesville, NC.
She was born in San Bernardino, CA on December 18, 1947. Phyllis was the daughter of the late Phillip and Helen Thompson Crosno. She was a member of the Carpenter’s Shop Church in Ahoskie, NC. Phyllis was a former worker at Tarheel Bar-B-Q in Eure, NC and worked in many restaurants as a prep cook and dishwasher for many years.
Left to cherish her memory is her former husband, David Amos Archer; three children, Gary Robert Kluesener of Windsor, VA, Renee Wall (Patrick Carroll) of Gates County, NC, Betty Cherry of Sunbury, NC; four grandchildren, Jackie Wall Owens (husband, Chris Owens), Timothy Harrell (Jessica Felton) of Ahoskie, NC, Jessica Wall of Gates County, NC, and Katie Cherry of Gates County, NC; and one great granddaughter, Jada Wall of Spring Hope, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at the Carpenter’s Shop Church, 903 S. Catherine Creek Road, Ahoskie, NC.
The family suggests that donations be sent to the Carpenter’s Shop Church in honor and memory of Phyllis Archer.
