Phyllis C. "Cohen" Batterman

PHYLLIS C. BATTERMAN, age 76, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026. Devoted wife to Deanna Delahunty. Loving mother to Elliot Batterman (Christine), Adrienne Enz (Kevin), and Monica Batterman. Dear grandmother to Jared, Cameron, Aidan, Gavin, Regan, and Jace. Adored daughter of the late Joseph and Pearl Cohen (Freeman). Beloved sister to Stephen Cohen (the late Sandy), also survived by nieces and nephews.

After a courageous 25-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis, our beloved mother passed away surrounded by the love of family and friends.

Despite the challenges of MS, she lived a life full of curiosity and adventure. She loved traveling the world with her wife, Deanna, creating memories that will last a lifetime. In earlier years she was an avid reader, always enjoying a good book. More recently, she found comfort relaxing with her favorite television shows. She also enjoyed going to ceramics and bingo. She especially enjoyed traveling on bus trips with Starr Tours visiting destinations and seeing performances across the country, including many beloved shows on Broadway.

She will be remembered for her strength, her love of travel and entertainment, and the special bond she shared with her family. We will forever cherish her memory.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 11:00AM until 12:30PM at Louis A. DiGiacomo Funeral Home, Inc., 1055 Southampton Road, Philadelphia PA 19116, immediately followed by words of remembrance service 12:30PM. Interment will be private.
