Phyllis M. (Rochette) Belmore, 92, of North Brookfield, daughter of the late Clarence H. and Alma B. (Cardinal) Rochette, died on January 6, 2025. Her husband of 43 years, Raymond F. Belmore, died in 1996.
She leaves her son Peter, daughter Dianne Caron, grandchildren Christine Leger and Carolyn Cullen, great grandchildren Damien and Kyle Leger, and many nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was predeceased by her five brothers, Ernest, Robert, Donald, Richard, and Kenneth, two sisters, Beatrice Lareau and Beverly Downing, nephews Paul Rochette, Bob Lareau Jr., and Bob Rochette Jr., and niece Susan Marsh.
Before moving to North Brookfield in 2002, she resided in Millbury for 27 years. Phyllis grew up in the “Lake View” section of Worcester, her birthplace. Following her graduation from Commerce High School, she was employed by Mass Electric, at the former Webster St. Station. Later, she spent 25 years working in the trucking industry for Interstate Motor Freight, and Yellow Freight, retiring in 1996.
There are no calling hours. At the request of Phyllis, all services are private.
