Phyllis Ann Belt of Purcell, Ok. formally of Stratford, Oklahoma was born April 10, 1934 in Lightning Ridge, to Earl and Alma (Dunn) Stewart. She passed away September 1, 2025 in Purcell, Ok. at the age of 91 years 4 months and 21 days. She grew up in the Lightning Ridge area and started School there. Then went to Fitzhugh where she graduated from high school. Going on to college at East Central. She married the love of her life Doug Belt February 7, 1953. They raised their two girls in Stratford, Oklahoma. Phyllis and Doug were members of the First Baptist Church where she played the organ for many many years. She taught Sunday School and VBS. What an incredible woman of many talents. So sooo loved by her 2 adoring daughters,6 grandchildren, and 13 greats. Independent, stubborn, intelligent. Former business woman and CFO. A lover of books, puzzles, birds, and plaid shirts. A pianist, organist. Believer, Christian, daughter of the King. 91 well lived years on this earth. She is home now, reunited with Nandad Doug. Rest, sweet MeMa. We will see you again and for that I am so eternally thankful. Preceded ; by her parents Earl and Alma Stewart, and her husband Doug. Survived by; two daughters; Rhonda Savage & husband Mike of Purcell, OK. Donna Rhynes & husband Kenny of Ada, OK. 6 Grandchildren; Leah Perkins & husband Steve of New Castle, OK Adam Savage & wife Suni of Ardmore, OK Trey Rhynes & wife Ashley of Midwest City, OK Amanda Serna & husband Travis of Tuttle, OK Stephanie Coulson & husband Steven of Hideout, Utah Elizabeth Townley & husband Darren of Washington, OK Brother; Earl Stewart Jr. & wife Carol. 13 Great-grandchildren; Ethan, Luke, Harper, Kallen, Gabbi, Phoenix, Aspen, Devlyn, Grayson, Evie, Maddix, Tate, and Olive. Visitation; will be Thursday September 4, 2025 in DeArman/Pickard Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Stratford, Ok. Graveside Services; 2:30 PM Friday September 5, 2025 in Lightning Ridge Cemetery, Roff, Ok. Officiating; Mike Savage.
