Phyllis Graham Benenhaley, 70, widow of Thomas Earl "Dooley" Benenhaley, Jr., died Thursday, January 30, 2025, at her home.
Born May 4, 1954, in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Linwood Graham and the late Neely Knight Graham.
Survivors include four children, Ronald Benenhaley, Glenda Blackmon (John), Jason Benenhaley (Susan), and Timothy Benenhaley; grandchildren, Joshua More (Traci), Jamie More (Emily), Cody Benenhaley, Taylor Benenhaley, Ryan Benenhaley (Iona), and Jason Shawn Benenhaley; 13 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Kathy Barfield, Angie Bullock (Bill), and Rusty Graham.
A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Monday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jim Johnson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. to 12 Noon Monday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of her grandson, Jamie More, 2840 Montgomery St.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Agape Hospice for their loving care and compassion.
Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
