It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Phyllis Rose Berlan, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sista of Augusta, Maine. Phyllis passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on March 24, 1955, Phyllis lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and deep devotion to her family. She was an amazing sister to Deb Kenney, James Kenney, Diana Hodges, Tracy Mena and Kenneth Wright Jr. She was the loving mother of three daughters -Valoree, Sarah, and Julie who were the pride and joy of her life.

Phyllis was a cherished grandmother to Olivia Chabot, Cameron Chabot, Ashlyn Cook, Adrianna Cook, Averie Pierce, Cayden Berlan, and Landn McSpadden. Her legacy continues through her great-grandsons, Everett and Elington, who brought her immense joy in her later years.

Her warmth, strength, and unwavering support will be remembered by all who knew her. Phyllis found beauty in the simple moments and had a heart big enough to hold the entire family together through life's ups and downs.

She will be dearly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Phyllis's memory by sharing a kind word, lending a helping hand, or simply holding your loved ones a little closer.
