Phyllis Boros Obituary
Phyllis K. Boros, of Austell, Georgia, passed away on August 13, 2025, just shy of her 81 birthday. As a science teacher spanning 31 years, she touched many lives. She had a Master of Science and Applied Biology from Georgia Tech. Known for being fiercely loyal to family and friends, she had a sharp wit and generous nature that endeared her to others. She was a voracious reader and a die-hard fan of science fiction. She is survived by Melvin K. Boros (husband); Robert A. Boros (son); Leigh A. Boros (daughter); Sophia Harvey, Ziva Boros (granddaughters); Madison Harvey (great-granddaughter); Theodore Powell (cousin); Lesa Kramer, and Suyra Kramer (nieces). Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. The funeral will be on August 17, 2025, at 12:30 PM, at the Greenwood Cemetery with Rabbi Laurence Rosenthal officiating. Arrangements by Dressler's, 770-451-4999.

Mel, We love you very much and both of us are heart broken of your loss of Phyllis. You were so loving and caring of her when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. There is so much to write to express our love and not enough room. God bless and know you are in our prayers. James and Jerry Tollett
