Jonathan M. Boros

Jonathan M. Boros, age 36, of Millcreek passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Erie on December 31, 1988, the son of Bunnie (Fuller) Boros and the late Michael J. Boros.

Jon was a proud graduate of Cathedral Prep, class of 2007. In high school he worked alongside his best friend, Casey, at Tom Hill's Meat Market and later as a Millcreek Paramedic. Jon was currently employed at Erie Insurance as a security training officer.

He was a former volunteer fireman and officer at the Kearsarge Fire Department. Jon played hockey for Erie Youth Hockey, Prep and the Cleveland Barons. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing. He helped coach the Millcreek Riptide Football team. Most of all he enjoyed watching his son play baseball.

Jon is survived by his wife of 11 years, Laura (Jankowski) Boros, son Jameson Boros, mother Bunnie Boros, father and mother-in-law, Tony and Heidi Jankowski, sister-in-law, Sally Jankowski and her children Kyle and Alex. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 3 to 7 pm at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street. A service will be held there on Tuesday at 10 am followed by burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kearsarge Volunteer Fire Department or Hunt of a Lifetime.
