Jack L. Fatica

Jack Lawrence Fatica, age 81, passed away peacefully at home March 18th, 2026, surrounded by his family. Jack was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania on August 14, 1944, to the late Carmelina and Jack Fatica. He was a lifelong contributor to the community.

He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Kathleen McCabe (Iverson) Fatica; children, Natalie Fatica Miller (Adam), Jack Charles Fatica (Kelly), Justin Paul Fatica (Mary) and former exchange student whom he calls son, Ravindra Agadi (Sarita). In addition, he was loved by 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by siblings, Laura Ott, Emily Sertz (Ron), Frank Fatica (Colleen) and Jeff Fatica (Annie).

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Joseph Ott.

Jack began his work life at the Erie Zoo and had many interesting stories to tell. He was the successful business owner of Champion Bolt turned to Pentacon. He had many accomplishments including Entrepreneur of the Year, Distinguished Rotarian, and a member of the Penn State Behrend Board of Directors. He had many hobbies including golfing, hunting and fishing.

Friends may call on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd. and are invited to a funeral mass at St. Peter Cathedral at 10 a.m. on Monday. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery.
