Donna Jean Hessinger

Donna Jean (Campbell) Hessinger, age 82, of Waterford, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026. She was born in DuBois on December 10, 1943, the daughter of the late Joseph and Dessyl (Wilson) Campbell.

Before she had children Donna worked as a secretary at General Electric. Her true calling in life was that of a devoted wife and Mother, she loved her family dearly.

Donna enjoyed interior design, music and played the piano and organ at the Community of Christ Church for many years. She was a La Leche League leader for over 25 years. It gave her great joy to help new mothers successfully nurse their babies. Donna liked going to the Summit Senior Center and game night at First Alliance Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Fred Hessinger, her children, Kurt Hessinger (Terry Schenck), Kyle Hessinger, Ken Hessinger and Kristen Unroe, husband Jon. She is also survived by her siblings James Campbell and Linda Kaschalk, husband Jim.

Friends are invited to call at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street, on Friday, March 20th, from 10 am until a service at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Erie County Memorial Gardens.
